भीमाद नगरपालिकामा ‘कपडा बैंक’ सुरु : १०० सेट न्यानो कपडा हस्तान्तरण
तनहुँको भीमाद नगरपालिकामा ‘कपडा बैंक’ अभियानको औपचारिक शुभारम्भ गरिएको छ। शुभारम्भसँगै नगरपालिकालाई १०० सेट न्यानो कपडा हस्तान्तरण गरिएको हो।
नगरप्रमुख दधिराज सुवेदीको अध्यक्षतामा सम्पन्न कार्यक्रममा उपप्रमुख सारदा खनाल, निमित्त प्रमुख प्रशासकीय अधिकृत सन्दीप पौडेल तथा Cloth & Food Bank Nepal का योजनाकार एवं सामाजिक अभियन्ता कमल जी.सी. लगायतको उल्लेखनीय उपस्थिति रहेको थियो। कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै नगरप्रमुख सुवेदीले कपडा बैंकजस्तो परोपकारी अभियानप्रति खुसी व्यक्त गर्दै स्थानीयवासीलाई यसको अधिकतम उपयोग गर्न र अभियानलाई थप विस्तार गर्न आग्रह गर्नुभयो।
सामाजिक अभियन्ता कमल जी.सी.ले अब भीमाद क्षेत्रमा कोही पनि कपडाविहीन नरहने विश्वास व्यक्त गर्दै आवश्यक परेकाहरूलाई निसंकोच सम्पर्क गर्न आग्रह गर्नुभयो। उहाँले कपडामा हुने खर्च बचत गरी शिक्षा र स्वास्थ्यमा लगानी गर्नुपर्ने सन्देश पनि दिनुभयो।
उपप्रमुख सारदा खनालले आगामी आर्थिक वर्षदेखि कपडा बैंकलाई नगरपालिकाको नीति तथा योजनामा समावेश गरी बजेट विनियोजन गर्ने र यस अभियानलाई तनहुँ जिल्लाभर विस्तार गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता जनाउनुभयो। त्यस्तै, निमित्त प्रमुख प्रशासकीय अधिकृत सन्दीप पौडेलले यस्ता कार्यक्रमले कपडाको अभावमा रहेका नागरिकलाई राहत पुग्नुका साथै सरसफाइ व्यवस्थापनमा समेत सहयोग पुर्याउने बताउनुभयो।
कार्यक्रममा विभिन्न वडा अध्यक्षहरूले पनि आफ्ना धारणा राखेका थिए। नगरपालिकाकी सूचना अधिकारी टेकावती ढकालले कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गर्नुभएको थियो।
कपडा बैंक अभियानले न्यानो माया र सहयोगको सन्देश बोकेको छ, जसले अब स्थानीय समुदायमा आपसी सहकार्य र सहयोगको भावना अझ सुदृढ बनाउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Clothing Bank Launched in Bhimad Municipality; 100 Sets of Warm Clothes Distributed
A clothing bank has been officially launched in Bhimad Municipality of Tanahun. On the occasion, 100 sets of warm clothes were handed over to the municipality.
The program was held under the chairmanship of Mayor Dadhiraj Subedi, with the notable presence of Deputy Mayor Sarada Khanal, Acting Chief Administrative Officer Sandip Poudel, and social activist Kamal G.C., the planner of Cloth & Food Bank Nepal, among others. Speaking at the event, Mayor Subedi expressed his खुशी over the humanitarian initiative and urged local residents to make the best use of the clothing bank and help promote the campaign.
Social activist Kamal G.C. stated that no one in Bhimad should remain without clothes and encouraged those in need to contact them without hesitation. He also emphasized saving money spent on clothing and investing it in children’s education and personal health.
Deputy Mayor Sarada Khanal expressed her commitment to include the clothing bank in the municipality’s policies and plans in the coming fiscal year, along with allocating a budget and expanding the initiative across Tanahun district. Similarly, Acting Chief Administrative Officer Sandip Poudel highlighted that such programs not only provide relief to those lacking clothing but also contribute to better waste management and cost savings for the municipality.
Ward chairpersons also shared their views during the program, while Information Officer Tekawati Dhakal facilitated the event.
The clothing bank initiative carries a message of warmth, compassion, and support, and is expected to strengthen the spirit of cooperation within the local community.
